Senior Hotline

The TCaware Senior Support Hotline under development will provide direction during times of emotional distress, as well as the unmet need of information on a variety of programs and services to seniors still living in their homes. Living independently is the key to a senior’s sense of well-being and allows them to more easily maintain relationships with friends and neighbors. Independence for seniors however, can mean anxiety for their family and friends. TCaware’s Senior Support Hotline will help seniors feel comfortable in their own homes while ensuring peace of mind for themselves and their loved ones. Our 24-hour telephone hotline will provide immediate and confidential assistance for senior’s age 55 and older in emotional distress, as well as information about programs and services in their community.

Police, Fire and Rape Crisis Hotlines receive numerous non-emergency calls from seniors that are overwhelmed and in emotional distress. By providing seniors with our support hotline emergency personnel can focus on life threatening calls requiring immediate emergency assistance. TCaware’s trained support staff will provide 24-hour coverage to ensure emergency calls are forwarded to the proper agencies. The TCaware Senior Support Hotline will empower seniors to make positive life changes through connections between people and critical resources.
